The South East Asia-Europe Network for building training and education capacities in Plastic Recycling in Laos and Vietnam with emphasis on quality, safety and resource efficiency, called SEA-PLASTIC-EDU project, is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
The project’s main partners include: University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (Austria), Technical University Dresden (Germany), Aalborg University (Denmark), Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City / IUH and Hanoi University of Science (Vietnam), National University of Laos/ NOUL (Laos) and associated industrial partner. The Kick-off meeting conference was held successfully on 23rd May, 2018 at Hanoi University of Science. he training program was organized in two days 23rd - 24th November 2020 on Con Dao island including 2 modules namely "Plastic waste and it's impact - The remedies for plastic waste reduction in circular economy" and "Composting household organic wastes and growing organic plants training course".
On 17th and 18th December 2020, the second pilot training had been held successfully at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. There were 17 attendees from 11 plastic manufacturing and plastic recycling enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City that joined together in the "Plastic recycling - Situation and Opportunities" training course.
